Red Nation Film Preservation

Today we find that most American Indian films made before 1950 are lost forever and during the silent era native films made need to be restored and preserved.   Red Nation Film Preservation supports “hands-on” preservation and restoration to ensure that these films – these works of art, historical records, and essential representations of our native culture – will survive for future generations.

Currently, Red Nation Film Preservation has over 25 years of films and footage that need to be restored and preserved.

You can support and preserve American Indian Films!
